The British Gold Reserve is solely interested in items containing precious gold and platinum. Such items include, but are not limited to:
- Gold chains, necklaces, and bracelets.
- Gold rings, earrings, and lockets.
- Gold charms, cufflings, bracelets, and watches.
- Bridgework or gold dental crowns.
- Coins and other collectables.
No metals other than gold or platinum will be accepted, so we would strongly advise against sending them in. Any fake jewellery will be easily identified, and should not be sent in. You will be charged the postage costs to return fake jewellery back to you.

2. Put your items in the secure envelope provided and post them back free of charge.
3. Our experienced valuation team will calculate the price of your jewellery.
4. We will send your payment in the post within 24 hours after your jewellery has been professionally valued.
5. If you are not 100% satisfied with your cheque, just send it back and we will return your jewellery free of charge.
6. Your jewellery will be melted when you cash your cheque, or if the cheque has not been returned within 10 days and you haven't informed us to return your goods.
If you change your mind, all you have to do is contact us within 10 days of the payment issue date on your cheque. You will then have 7 days to return the payment to us, after which we will send your jewellery back to you. For detailed information, please see our Terms and Conditions.
